Interviewing Is a Skill and Practice

If some recruiter reaches out to you, talk to them. Just do it. It doesn't hurt. And then if that goes okay, talk to a hiring manager. Interviewing is a skill. It's something that needs to be practiced. If you want to be super hands-on and learn how a company runs, working at a startup is great. The problem with startups is they're probably looking for someone with PM experience that is pretty deep. So, I would say there are plenty of companies, Facebook, Uber, and Google are three of them that have what's called APM or Associate Product Manager positions. Those are for PMs that have never been a PM before.
