The History of the Leicester Factory District

The garment district in Leicester is a small area of the city. It's full of rows of red brick terraced houses and these very old factory buildings. The factories are so small that they're basically rooms with a bunch of people sitting at sewing machines. A lot of them are from the Indian subcontinent, lots of them moved to the UK a really long time ago.
