Catherine was diagnosed with bipolar disorder when she was in her early 20s. She had a psychotic rate of up to 25 per cent for the next three years. Catherine and her husband were living together at the time, but they weren't allowed to leave the house. "I still now find it really difficult to even comprehend what happened 10 years ago," says Catherine.
