What Happened to Detective O'Connell and Carmella Baddio?
Detective O'Connell resigned from the sheriff's office and began managing a McDonald's. The monumental job of restoring the county's faith in its sheriff's office, as well as jumpstarting the Heather Bogle murder investigation now fell to newly elected Sheriff Chris Hilton. Investigators obtained Josh's DNA and compared it to the mystery DNA under Heather's nails. Kitzopoulos soon found Carmella to be both cooperative and credible.
