The Importance of Imagination

I don't think we teach math well to our kids, or that we embrace it well enough ourselves. Math is something you should visualize. Equations are actually brushstrokes that describe something in nature,. Just as much as one of Leonardo's brushstrokes was. That seems to work for CRISPR, but I get the feeling that when you learned enough math, you were able to see through the lens of the math.
