Is That an Example of Scaffolding?

Parents can kind of get the gist of it. Lots of frustration, lots of trial by error, but then there's also praise for getting things right. Pointing to something and naming it is a great example of scaffolding. Giving somebody a check list that helps them do ex isy task in the moment is a good example of scaffolded. But you're also illustrating something that is equally important, which is, what's the goal? Well, the goal is to create independence.
