Is There Something for the Children to Go Through as Well?
Once a case closes, obviously their official role as a cassa would end once the court case closed. But if there is a relationship there that the cassa has formed with the family, with the child, there are times where that relationship can continue as a friend of the family. I have several volunteers who still hear from the families of the cassas and get pictures at christmas time and see themo just because the adopted family recognizes that they were important, an important part of that child's life.
