The Effect of Tranexamic Acid on Neurological Outcomes

All the trial evidence now says that it works across the severity bands. The effect size depends on how severely injured you are but there is still an effect at the different effect bands. There doesn't seem to be any increased risk of thromatobent. So I don't think there is a place for testing from the point of view of tranexamic acid, but there probably is for other things. And we need an outcome measure that is important to patients and has included survivors and consumers in the development of the outcome measure. But at the moment we don't have anything that has been developed to that degree of expertise.
