Nobunaga and the Takeda Clan

Nobunaga deposed Yoshiyaki in 1573 and drove him out of Kyoto. Nobunaga's position only became stronger as he put a range of economic reforms into place. He also undertook a massive reform of the tax system after a huge land survey. The conflict with the Takeda was very interesting because of the involvement of Lady Otso Yua, his aunt. She betrayed her nephew, the most powerful warlord in the country.
