The world is in desperate need of cross-shaped people. Christ gives his life freely, no one takes it from him. So we remember his sufferings and his sacrifice. And as we often say, when we take this, the actual act is declaring the death and resurrection of Jesus until he returns. We lift up our gaze to the heavens and focus our eyes on you.
