The Future of Social Networking

Mastodon is another approach to decentralized social networking. Users can select a server that aligns with their own personal values or preferences, while still interacting with people who are from the larger Mastodon community. The concept of a federated social network is also a little tricky to explain to someone who's more of a casual user.
