Is There a Way to Tame Infinities?

The idea that all the possible pats a particle can take, adding up to one you observe, it's mathematically a useful idea. It could be that we might need new types of math to be able to tame that infinity. And so even after fimen snia and his colleagues discovered quantum field theory, they found that this way of summing up patts led to infinities. To day, we're still trying to figure out how to tame these infinity.
