Diochu antepiners and business persons were mostly small time people. They often owned businesses and made modest but respectable fortunes. Many of these dochus were pillars of their community and shared their success with those they lived amongst as philanthropists. This is the story of a man known in his homeland of via nam as chun ha. His chinese name is chun du. Where i come from, we know him as david tranhi.
