The Nine Dot Problem

The nine dot problem is a manifestation of frame changing that turns out to be efficacious. When people look at the dots, they are arranged in such a way that they will see the dots as forming a square - even though there's no continuous line between the dots. People form the square and only find the space within the projected square salient. And once you do that, it's very easy to connect all nine dots with four straight lines. Becomes a very easy problem. You have to realize that none of those constraints are actually germaned to the problem as it was given to you.
