The Audacity of Writing a Letter to Your Parents
Tom got the maps for years, but when his family moved from New Jersey to Illinois when he was 13, he says they took longer to arrive in the mail. Tom also sent away for a daily printed weather map that was published by the United States Weather Bureau in Washington, D.C. The station's manager eventually decided to put Tom on the radio twice a day.
