The Importance of Synchronization

A study in Scandinavia found that happiness levels correlated with people being on holiday at the same time. There are all sorts of very down-to-earth reasons why synchronization is going to leave people happier, you say. Being on holiday means there's not a huge backlog of emails accumulating in your inbox while you're gone. And then just on a very mundane level, lots of us, I suspect, have this experience where it's really hard to organize for two, three friends to meet for a drink or something.
