The idea that parents should have unquestioning command over their children is so deeply ingrained in society still to day. A lot of it is because people just were raised that way themselves, she says. In the work place, you know, one of the things that always sucks the most, in my experience, about working of any job, really, is the infantalization of the workerdand the replication of the hierarchy of the schoolroom.
