The Problem With Free Will
There's been a reluctance to accept that the power of freedom is something we can observe or have experience of, says Tom Pink. We should believe experience unless we have some very good reason for not doing so, he argues. No one has shown that human actions are causally undetermined by prior occurrences outside our will or outside our control. Until they've done that, it's very unobvious to me that we should automatically be skeptical about the way experiences representing our freedom to us.
