I'm struck by in a lot of cases how you refer to your practice simple. You keep it a you say, i keep my practice really simple by noticing my suffering and confronting it with kindness. And compassion. That reminds me of that last line of the bodisot vows, or the great vows. For all they hve different ams, but the, you know, darma gates are countless. I vowd to wake to them, right? They're everywhere, yes, exactly.
La Sarmiento has been practicing Vipassana meditation since 1998. They are the guiding teacher of the Insight Meditation Community of Washington’s BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ Sanghas, a mentor for the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program and Cloud Sangha, a contributor to the Ten Percent Happier app, and a graduate of Spirit Rock’s Community Dharma Leader Training Program.
