Some journalists at CNN don't buy into that mission. At the end of the day, CNN is a television network and you have to create good programming. Chris Licht was really tinkering around with a declining linear product. There was no strategy for CNN's future that was articulated. That is not going to save CNN in a world where linear is in an extra-ball decline.
