Is There a Final Criterion for Reality?

David Wheeler: Some philosophical arguments, including the argument against solipsism, are far more compelling than any scientific argument. He argues that our criterion for reality is whether or not an entity kicks back and we'll have more to say about this in chapter 10 of his book. We should not, of course, expect to find a final or infallible criterion. Our judgments of what is, or is not real, always depend on the various explanations that are available to us,. sometimes change as our explanations improve, just to pausing their moral reflection.
