The Table of Jesus

Sarah was invited to a weekly family dinner that she hosted every Monday night. She met people from all walks of life who were trying to piece together an ordinary life. At the end of the night I was fighting tears while I helped clear the table because here it was the table of Jesus, Paul fought for in Corinth and we did It was impossible not to remember Jesus that Monday night sitting around that table. Sarah is still living on that same block among all those same neighbors ten years later.
