The new research says that quantum theory is not fundamental because space time and quantum theory are doomed. It's only eight years out, but the Nobel Committee itself was not interested yet in Einstein's theory of space time. "I just would like to not be one of the old guard that dies before it sees what the fun stuff is ahead," he said.
