Use so blow in your application to catch all of those security problems we were talking about earlier such as sequel injection or cross-site scripting. It's good to just be familiar with the right and wrong way to do things securely. There was an interesting discussion on the erlang mailing list or it was the erlang forum about why this is possible. i believe there actually have been proposals for garbage collection of atoms, which would allow you to create at runtime all these atoms. This sounds like usually a bad idea but i guess there must be a good reason or else we would be that'd be ripped up by now right.
