Is Your Family Mexican From Mexico?
I grew up wishing I was more Mexican than I felt that I was because I didn't speak Spanish. My family is Mexican from Mexico, me Choccon, Mexico, but like five generations back. And so then it's like, Oh, blend in. Don't have an accent. Don't talk about this. You know, peanut butter and jelly, put your breed away. But there also is a very, very strong component to the family you grew up in. There's definitely a strong strain of the fact that you come from,. some people say Latin, some people says Latinx. Whatever it is.
