Early Chainsaws in 18th Century Medicine
The osteo tone was an alternative to Caeserian section, which had a high mortality rate for mothers. The giggly twisted wire saw it was ultimately cheaper and avoided the two main issues with the chainsaw: breakage and the chain getting stuck in the bone.
