A lot of bridezilla stories feature a racist bride with the bride rejecting guests and bridesmaids who have natural protective hairstyles. Sometimes they'll request free services from distant friends or freelancers. There's also like purity culture that sometimes plays into it, so some brides reject wedding party members who were born out of wedlock. The trope of the bridezilla says more about how we view women than anything else.
