The Effects of Militias on the American Way of Life
"I'm from Michigan, which if you're into militias, Michigan's a great place to be. We got some OG militia action happening there," he says. "Some of them actually did call me renegade because I would study them at a time when it was not really popular for liberal academics to be dealing with more conservative topics" He adds that the military side of it is fascinating as are ex-military folks and ex-cops who see it as an extension of their service.
