The body would go, okay, based on all of these potential muscles that could potentially contribute to me lifting this, I'm going to distribute it amongst as many muscles as I can. So now what if I did it differently? What if I walked up to it, stopped two feet away, didn't bend my knees and just hinged from the hips, still left the same hundred pounds, right? Left it from the ground to the top, but it was a different sequence of events. Can you guys see how that would create a different muscular recruitment pattern?
