Reduplication Patterns and Phonological Processes
I like the idea of using phonological processes to make reduplication less transparent. Another pattern is you can echo the onset plus nucleus, but leave out the coda. All sorts of fun things can happen once you've decided what's going on. There's also, I mean, raising lowering all sorts of things. The sky's the limit.
