One of the great things about God Emperor of June is that much of it is given over to conversations that I guess Frank Coba is sort of having with himself. At least one of the themes of the series and Lito at that point in the book is speaking very much in the voice of Frank Herbert you said the same way this can't go on. And even if you have this leader who has this superhuman privileged view of the future, who in principle knows all who has all of the answers, then you're still losing something worthwhile if you're not from being able to think for themselves or you're trying to prevent people from thinking for themselves.
