The Future of Artificial Intelligence

I think to an extent it depends upon what sort of artificial intelligence we end up with. For those who envision artificial general intelligence, the results are world changing. Our goals will be more achievable because we'll be able to rely on this help and a lot of tasks which right now we rely on others for can instead be done by machines. But I do think the world of everyone having fairly useful personal assistance across a wide variety of pursuits or specialties is fairly realistic. It's one in which we can have a great deal, more agency.
