How to Transcribe Music by Ear

Learn your solos by ear. It's super important. The better you get at being able to hear the solo and transcribe it in your head  the easier transcribing is going to be. Grab a hymnal if you've been going to Methodist church since you were little maybe grab something else so that you're not familiar with it because you don't necessarily want to already know it.
