Tookie Williams served as the de facto leader during Raymond Washington's imprisonment, but he got injured in a rare early drive by shooting 1976. On February 28, 1979, Tookie and three other people were riding in a car together looking to get some money to buy some more PCP. They decided to rob a 7-Eleven store where they found Albert Lewis Owens, who was sweeping the parking lot and the store to serve him. Blackie stole about $120 in the register while Tookie makes Owens lie down on the floor, shoots him twice in the back with that shotgun. Next three murders take place March 11, when Stanley and an accomplice break into the Brookhaven Motel
