The History of German Culture
Judaism is named after Judah, the leader in patriarch of one of the 12 tribes of Israel. Jewish populations tend to have a long history of mild to moderate inbreeding just because they're typically separate from the surrounding population. They interbreed primarily with other mildly inbred Jewish populations, resulting in some very, very clear genetic markers of Jewish heritage.
