The Role of Cyclosporin in Immunosuppression
In terms of partial response, a lot of it depends on intensity of cyclosporin levels. And if they're truly therapeutic in a protracted fashion, then we might get to 50, sometimes 60% of partial responses. Abrupt withdrawal is probably not in the patient's best interest ever. If a true commitment to immunosuppression has been done, these patients need to stay oncyclosporin at therapeutic levels for at least a year or longer.
