How Did You Become a Captain in the Army?

I joined the army thinking i was going to be a linguist, and i did not understand this sort of difference in between enlisted an officer. So i knew that i could be an officer because i had a college degree. And it wasn't until, literally, in sorts of the process of going in and their asking me, like, why do you think you'll be a good leader,  that i started to realize there is a difference. You start as a lieutenant, you go up through general, and those are management. The different is that, so we have the enlisted, which is, your going as a private, and you go through being a sergeant all the way up
