Many listeners may have done things as a result of not getting past this fight or flight system but trying to calm it down you know giving in to the compulsions. I actually have a long and extensive list so you've opened up a pretty detailed response that I'm going to share with you. There is a form of OCD that I refer to as character indictment, where someone might have a pedophile spike or a violent spike and their brain doesn't say oh you might act on this those around you are in danger. The brain might say because you had this thought this now implies something about your character this implies that you are sort of a lo-some person that you're that you're violent
