Reductive Compatibility in Philosophy
In the paper Taylor mentioned in the introduction, you presented dilemma for what you call reductive compatibleism. Many of our listeners will be familiar with the term but could you give a quick loss and then explain what counts as a reductive compatibleist view? I think so compatibleism is the thesis that free will is compatible with physical determinism. Maybe it doesn't have to be the past, it could just be any kind of physical state. It's just the thesis about the way the natural world works.
