How Much Does Queerness Change Culture?
Madha: I think everything changes culture. It's policy certainly, but it's also how you role model and exemplify the stories you tell. In corporate world, for example, if you create ongoing conversations in which queerness is normalized as part of so many other conversations,. If one person happens to be queer, this goes for any other aspect of marginalization. Madha: How we create that momentum is up to us. You can't depend on the only queer people to create this momentum. We need allies as well.
