Is There a Star in the Sky?

Tolkien was a medievalist and he looks at it from this other perspective. He sees no stars who does not see them first of living silver made that sudden burst to flame like flowers beneath an ancient song. We would not see the stars if we didn't see them first. And there's, and I think what we get to as we get further into this, we'll see that even though we now in as modern man can look at those stars and say, indeed, that's a star.
