The Importance of Storytelling
In my stand up, I had no story. And other comedians do have story. But storytelling is stand up for frightened people. In the screenplays I've written, I like to know not where I'm going. Because if I don't know, either does the reader. As time goes on and you're writing, you realize you've laid in elements that can manifest themselves later.
