I Think It's a True Act of Bravery to Come Out
I think it's really important that we do help create a positive environment that enables players to be their authentic selves. I think for gay players it's a true act of bravery to come out and to be proud of who you are and own that identity. Having it held in a country like Qatar where clearly you can't be your authentic self will mean that we won't see the very best of footballs. You've actually got a better football who's able to be out than a footballer who has to live with the stress of living a double life.
