In everyday use, a sceptic is often thought to be some one who denies some orthodox view. But in philosophy, scepticism tends to be more about doubt than about negative assertion. Scepticism's probably been most influential in philosophy as a general view. So not about one or two specific things, but rather an attitude of doubt towards just about everything.
