The Importance of Sleeping Well

Some people produce more neurotransmitters than others. That's not necessarily a good thing, but it does mean that it's going to give you a lot of energy. The highest spike in cortisol is actually between 6 and 8 a.m., so get your morning cortisol when you wake up. Then take it right before lunch, summer around noon; then at dinner time, five, six o'clock,. And then just before bed, summer around 10 o'clock. There is a gland called the pineal gland which begins to secrete light from the sun on its own. We're looking inside the brain and deep inside the middle of the brain for this hormone.
