How to Interact With a Computer Program
In order to run multiple programes at the same time, i'm going to have to make some changes. The only way i can interact with a programe is by writing the programme and loading it into memory. I won't be able to send it instructions to give it values or to change its execution in any way. So these tasks are largely the responsibility of the operating system. And hence, that's why i'm now going to spend the rest of this episode talking about the operating system and how it works.
