The Importance of Specialized Mutation Systems in Mutation Bias Evolution

Theory doesn't depend on there being any kind of adaptive. Or like directed even would you? Right, exactly. There's no directed mutation. The other thing is I wouldn't want people to get confused when I talk about mutation bias, devolution, or the effect of biases in the introduction process that this depends on some kind of tendency for the mutations to be biased toward things that are more fit. So from my perspective, as someone who is really interested in the role of mutation in evolution, I really want to strictly distinguish between origination and fixation as two different steps in the evolutionary process.
