Are We Going to Be Back at the Lower Bound?
Pierre olivier: It is already hard enough to predict the past. Once we've got infmat back on target, so that takes a couple of years, are we going to be back at the lower bound? If you extropolate real interest rates forward, then, yes, they would be predicted to be fairly low over the next ten years,. including until 20 25, let's say. But i want to point out that there could be structural changes in a number of relations and tha, one of the things that we're seeing right now, as part of the titening cycle that the central banks are starting.
