"I was initially like, oh wow, somebody read my book. That's so great," she says of her first year after writing Eat, Pray, Love. "My publishers keep trying to bust that down and they keep trying to figure out how to market my books to men." She adds: "There's an inbred prejudice that says if men aren't following your work, it's not maybe legitimate"
