The Universe Isn't Expanding, but Instead Gaining Mass
A theoretical physicist at the University of Hetlülberg in Germany has recently proposed an idea that the universe isn't expanding, but instead gaining mass. If the entire universe is gaining mass at the same proportions, it makes his theory impossible to test - though it remains mathematically possible. So what we have going on here is a new idea that someone puts forth. They could explain what we already know to be true, but in a new and novel way.
